Emily F. Woodard
MSN, APRN, CPNP, Credentialed ImPACT Consultant
Emily is a native Texan and grew up in Sugar Land, a Houston suburb. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 1999 from Texas A&M University and then received a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin. She has been certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 2003.
Emily is so thankful she’s part of the amazing team at PAA and feels that our providers are truly the best! Thankfully, the doctors have provided her with the opportunity to work in many areas within the practice. She first joined the PAA team in 2008, helping start our After Hours Kids Clinic, then worked with Dr. Aiello (former PAA MD) to start our SportsSafe Concussion Clinic, and finally added the role of seeing routine sick and well visits at PAA. Additionally, she has helped create PAA’s allergy testing, asthma education, and COPE mental health programs. She loves the diversity these roles provide in allowing her to care for children. Prior to joining the PAA team, Emily worked 13 years with the underserved population at school-based health clinics and 2 years as faculty in The UT School of Nursing Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program.
She is married with a grown stepson and became a grandmother in 2023. She and her husband live in Georgetown and often travel all over Texas to visit family. Emily is an active member of Antioch Church in Georgetown. In her free time, she enjoys traveling in the RV, spending time outdoors, hiking, walking her sweet dog, Hank, “reading” (via Audible), Bible studies, and spending time with friends and family.
