Brooke was born and raised in northern New York. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Rochester in 2002, graduating summa cum laude. She worked as a pediatric RN for 5 years in the Children’s Hospital of Austin before going on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin.
She became a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2007. Brooke is bilingual (fluent in Spanish) and has gained a wide variety of experience working with children from the Andes mountains of Ecuador to our fine city of Austin. She has 15 years of experience as a PNP and extensive knowledge through her previous work in pediatric urgent care, and primary care pediatrics, as well as personal experience raising her four beloved children.
Investing time in getting to know her patients and their families is important to Brooke as she strives to provide holistic care and address their concerns to the best of her ability. She endeavors to make the most medically conservative and preventative approach in caring for each child. In her free time, some of the things she enjoys are quality time with family and friends, listening to and making music, all sorts of exercise, reading, and cooking (especially if someone helps with the dishes).
